A bus registered under company name SALAMA has been attacked by suspected terrorists while enroute to Nairobi. It was coming from Moyale town when militia fired several bullets to it killing one one spot.
Othe injured individuals have been rushed to Sololo Mission hospital for further management.
“A Salama bus was attacked between Bori Junction and Dadach Lakole on the Moyale-Sololo Road. Several people were injured. Four individuals were rushed to Sololo Mission Hospital, but one succumbed to their injuries before reaching the facility.” Read Report.
The night buses have been attacked before by alshabab. Several Kenyans have lost their lives in the hands of militias who don’t care about lives.
North Eastern region and some section of Rift valley occupied by bandits are known for such attacks.
Kenyans have been asked to be keen while traveling at night and report any Suspicious Individuals to nearest Police stations. May the soul of that person who has lost his life rest in peace and quick recovery to those in hospital.
