Former Chief Justice David Maraga is a man under siege after his actions with GenZ youths on June 25, 2025. according to the video widely shared online, the former court boss was seen together with youths protesting bad governance and police brutality.
He even took his time to issue a speech condemning the attack on youths by armed police officers. Well, his actions have landed him in trouble after this was reported.

Speaking at the national assembly today, Gladys Boss Shoeli called out Maraga. She accused him of taking to the streets to mislead youths despite him enjoying government packages that he was offered after retiring. She has asked him to reconsider his actions or else, they are going to stop his money so that he can continue with his attacks on the government of the day.
” Mr. Speaker, it was unfortunate for us to witness what happened yesterday. I want first to sympathize with those who Lost Their Lives during these protests. Secondly, we all watched as our former Chief Justice took to the streets and led youths in protests despite him enjoying a good pension paid by the government.” Said Sholei.
