Speculation over the cause of death of Treasury employee has sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans. Questions have been raised since Evans Chirchir death which was linked to millions tender deal at the treasury department.
Kenyans on social media demanded explanation of what really happened to him that his body was found in Machakos Morgue. Well, the government has explained what really happened.
[expander_maker id=”1″] According to Treasury Principal Secretary Kiptoo. The late Chirchir was not even an employee as it is being reported.
He was just an intern posted to the department at procurement docket and he was not involved in any tendering process as alleged.
He went on to clarify that the late died due to a road accident in Machakos county on weekend. He was allegedly coming from Makueni County in a private function.
Kiptoo has asked Kenyans speculating on his death to stop and allow the family to grieve their keen.
His postmortem is expected to be conducted Which is going to clear the air on what was really affected during accident.
It was reported that Chirchir body was found at Machakos Hospital morgue after he went missing on August 31, 2024.
