Few days ago, Kenyans woke up to sad news that shocked the whole country. 12 people had Lost their precious lives in a tragic accident. They were coming from a party which they had enjoyed themselves and danced the whole day. However, their joy and memories were not to be shared by those at home since the bridge was waiting.
The Nithi Bridge, the black spot that has swallowed many souls, souls that had bright visions for the country. Families are still mourning today as their loved once lie still at Chuka mortuary.
Well, who is responsible for this tragic death? The reckless driving? Roaring water under the bridge, the government of the day or simply Satan? Blame game is here with us again as nobody is willing to take responsibility.
Not even the highest house on the hill. Well, one of the major media house in Kenya has angered operatives at the House on the hill. The State House.
The headline on one of their headlines has rubbed them the wrong way. Through their official government Spokesperson X account. They have made it clear their feelings.
They have called out the People Daily magazine for their heading. The government Spokesperson has said that the heading was low of them and it should not have happened.
” People Daily, that headline is the lowest a media house can go. It’s totally unacceptable and uncalled for, no matter the motivation” posted On Official GOK spokesperson X account.
The people daily management had not responded to the message from spokesperson by the time of our report. It is not yet clear who sponsored the publication. The message was posted on their official X account, a magazine that was supposed to be sold today.
Should the president take responsibility of what happened and act? Well, he is still in China and let’s wait and see how things will play out when he returns.
