Confusion and debate have erupted across social media platforms after a document allegedly detailing key administrative appointments began circulating widely, drawing sharp reactions from members of the public and stakeholders.
The list, shared in multiple online forums and messaging groups, quickly gained traction, with some users questioning its authenticity while others treated it as confirmed information.
The Social Health Authority (SHA) has now moved to set the record straight, firmly distancing itself from the circulating document.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Authority dismissed the list as misleading, incomplete and not an official record of the recently concluded recruitment of 47 County Operations Managers.
SHA clarified that the document did not originate from the Authority and should not be relied upon as an accurate reflection of the recruitment outcome.

The agency emphasized that the selection process was conducted in line with established public service guidelines and that official communication would be issued through proper and verifiable channels.
“The list circulating online is not an official SHA document and does not represent the final results of the recruitment exercise,” the Authority said, warning members of the public against spreading unverified information.
SHA added that any legitimate announcements regarding appointments would be made formally and simultaneously to ensure fairness and transparency.
The Authority also noted that the recruitment process involved multiple stages, including shortlisting, interviews and internal verification, some of which were still being finalized at the time the list emerged online.
SHA urged applicants and the public to remain patient as the Authority completes the process and releases an official list.
It further cautioned that sharing false or misleading information risks undermining public confidence in critical health sector reforms currently underway.
The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to integrity, accountability and professionalism, assuring Kenyans that the final outcome would reflect merit and national values.
