He was Celebrated In all corners of the country as a man who was going to solve various issues that were neglected by past regimes.
Well, things are totally different today and he has admitted why he is no longer popular among Kenyans as he used to be prior to taking office.

Speaking during an interview with the Aljazeera reporter in Nairobi. President William Ruto claimed that a lot of Kenyans had high hopes for him because of the promises he made during campaigns.
However, some are still not satisfied with what he has achieved despite doing more. They are the ones asking questions about his development record.
He promised to continue fulfilling the promises he made and went further to claim that, on a scale of 1-10 he has achieved about 8 of the projects he promised Kenyans.
