Kenyans watched in shock as the graveside of the late Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga was destroyed just a few hours after military officers laid him to rest in his father’s land in Bondo, Siaya County.
Youths were seen dancing on the grave, celebrating and destroying the flowers which were placed there by the President of the republic of Kenya and other dignitaries. Well, details have emerged of why it happened that way.
According to the sources close to the family of the late Raila Odinga. What was seen was not destruction but rather a Luo tradition which is performed after one of their Noble leaders are also to rest.

The grave site was later redone after the incident that left many Kenyans speaking online. Some who did not understand the traditions claimed it was not good to do such things especially when the person buried was accorded respect with the State funeral.
It is not clear if the President and the military allowed the event to happen that way or they left the venue the moment Odinga was laid to rest.
Well, with the clarification from the family, Kenyans can now relax and maybe those who appreciate culture diversity ought to visit the home for some lessons. May the soul of Raila Odinga rest in peace.
