Speaking at Chavakali High School, Vihiga county . Raila declared that the ODM Party will field a presidential candidate in the 2027 general election.
” I want youths to register as voters in large numbers. They should Join the Orange democratic Party as members and prepare for the 2027 general election. Our party is going to field a candidate in that election.” Said Raila Odinga.
Raila’s declaration has sent Ruto and his team back to the drawing board. Some were expecting Odinga to support President William Ruto in 2027 now that mount Kenya is becoming more slippery.
Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has been touring the region promising Kenya Kwanza a spirited fight come 2027. All Kenyans are waiting to see how things will play out during that time.
