According to Raila, they agreed to have Thika super highway. It was seen as a world-class state of art project that was aimed at opening up mount Kenya region to the Capital.
However, things turned out ugly after President Mwai Kibaki Betrayed him and opened the door for the people to attack Raila Odinga as the person who was invading people properties in the name of putting up a highway.
Raila claimed that now, that is forgotten and several people are taking up the credit for the same road without shame.
