President William Ruto has made an unexpected move in the impeachment of his Deputy Rigathi Gachagua.
Gachagua and his team filled a petition in the court blocking any appointment of professor Kindiki as the designated Deputy President of the republic of Kenya.
This was after the senate voted to uphold the impeachment motion which was filled by the National Assembly.
President William Ruto has claimed that the matter involving Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua case should be moved to the supreme court. Account to him, the high court should not or rather does not have capacity to determine the case.

The matter is currently underway at Milimani law courts, where three bench judges are listening to the matter. Kenyans are waiting to see what will happen going forward as if Kindiki will takeover from Gachagua
