The President of the republic of Kenya, his Excellency William Ruto has left a section of Kenyans talking after his action today. This is after the court ruled in his favor allowing him to keep those who were appointed in various positions at the independent electoral commission.
Petitioners had disputed the appointment of IEBC chairperson and other commissioners citing violation of procedures. Well, the high court dismissed the petition giving Ruto a greenlight.

The President has reacted to the high court ruling by quickly putting up a gazette notice of the appointment of Erastus Edung Ethekon as an independent electoral commission chairperson.
With this notice, Kenyans are expecting the swearing in ceremony of the commissioners tomorrow. This will set the independent electoral commission in mission with preparations of the 2027 general election. W
Well, a section of Kenyans are questioning the efficiency of the gazette notice. Keeping in mind the ruling was made at night and the notice is already up.
