The Orange democratic Party has finally gone ahead to appoint a permanent party leader after Raila’s death last month with Oburu Odinga taking over in the acting capacity.
Speaking to journalists a few days ago, Oburu thanked the party for believing in him and making him the acting party leader on the same day that Raila Odinga was declared dead.

According to the video seen by us, Dr. Oburu Odinga has been officially confirmed as the official Orange democratic Party leader. He has been handed the instruments of power and he is no longer acting in the capacity.
Sifuna who was the master of the ceremony hailed Oburu Odinga as a strong person who will stir the party to the highest level. He claimed that the party made the right decision and from now going forward, the work will be to unite the party and build it to the national outfit.
