The Late Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga passed away in India on October 15, 2025. He was later airlifted to Kenya on a KQ flight accompanied by Kenyan dignitaries who travelled there immediately he was pronounced dead.
According to his Will, he requested to be laid to rest within 72 hours of him passing away. This was honored by his family. He was laid to rest on October 19, 2025. Many Kenyans gathered in Bondo to bid him farewell.

Well, since his burial, Kenyans are still visiting his grave in Bondo. Speaking during the interview with a local television, Oburu Odinga made it clear that Kenyans will not be blocked from visiting the grave of the late Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga.
According to him, Raila was a servant of the people, therefore, their home will not be closed to any Kenyan planning to visit the grave and pay their last respect.
Oburu clarified this after the journalist who was interviewing him cited the overwhelming numbers visiting the home and maybe burdening the widow Mama Ida Odinga.
