Speaking during the interview with a local station on November 2, 2025. Dr. Oburu Odinga claimed that if the Orange democratic Party will go into a coalition with Kenya Kwanza. They will demand nothing less than the Presidency or the second in command position.
This revelation has left Kenyans talking about what will happen to the current Deputy President of the republic of Kenya. Will he Join the ODM party if he wants to be in the same position post election? Will he accept another position if ODM is granted their wish?
Kenyans are waiting to see if the President will go ahead to grant the ODM party their wish or if he will look for other political partners ahead of the 2027 general election.
