Morara has claimed there is a mole in his team that is leaking crucial information to the police. According to him, police officers knew exactly where he was at the time of his arrest at his office. They also knew where he was because calls were made from his office to DCI before the incident.
“NIS have planted a mole in my team. I have just realized they knew everything about me before arrest because someone called them. Someone from my team called them before they moved in to arrest me.” Said Morara.
“After Bomas attack. I left Nairobi hospital for my office. There were plans to arrest me there. Someone in my team tipped them off but I managed to escape there. I will be vetting my security carefully going forward. It is not easy but with Kenyans support, we can do it together” Said Morara.
