Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki has left Kenyans talking after he took action that was not expected of him. Kindiki who is currently touring the Coast region with his allies and government dignitaries stopped at Mwatate, Taita Taveta county. He is in town for an empowerment program, a program he has been touring the whole country helping small businesses with funds.
Well, it is his action in Mwatate that has left Kenyans talking online. According to the video shared online, seemingly happy Kindiki donated three million shillings to youths for empowerment. This was after they chanted a two term slogan in front of him leaving those who had attended the function celebrating.

Kindiki claimed that, the donation was from President William Ruto, a move he claimed is a determination of the president to help the youths achieve their dream through empowerment of micro business.
Kindiki asked Mwatate residents not to listen to the opposition team. According to him, they don’t have any agenda for them and are only focused on tribal narratives, a narrative that cannot bring development to them. He asked them to support the President and his agenda fully for the development of the republic of Kenya.
The deputy President was flunked by national assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah, Farouk Kibet and other government dignitaries.
