Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is currently touring the Western region. He is flanked by other opposition leaders like Fred Matiang’i, Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa, Cleophas Wakhungu Malalah and Tranzoia County governor George Natembeya.
Their mission is to popularize their political outfit ahead of the general election which is just two years away. They are determined to send President William Ruto home and his entire Kenya Kwanza administration.
Well, all is not well for Gachagua. According to a report from Mount Kenya region, the former Deputy President might need to rush home and take action immediately.

According to the video shared online, elders from Mount Kenya region have disowned Gachagua. In a joint presser in Meru, the elders claimed that Gachagua is not a truthful man as he claimed but rather causing division within the Mount Kenya region.
They have backed professor Kindiki as their point man and regional negotiator. They believe that Kindiki is the right person to negotiate for development from the Kenya Kwanza Administration.
Gachagua will have to move with speed and counter them before they takeover the region he has been fighting to defend. Kenyans are waiting to see how the political battle is going to unfold in Mount Kenya region come 2027 with Gachagua and Kindiki taking center stage.
