The Orange Democratic party donated some leaders to serve in President William Ruto’s administration as experts. The four leaders were appointed to various powerful Positions leaving Kenyans asking questions.
Youths who protested for over two months questioned Ruto’s move to appoint the same politicians to the positions instead of listening to their pleas. In his response, the president claimed that, it was a way of embracing national unity.
Well, with the appointment of ODM party officials to the government, Kenyans expected the party to side with the Kenya Kwanza administration. However, it seems like things are not the same. This is after one ODM legislator who is a close ally of Raila Odinga declared that Ruto is hated by many people.
Speaking in Vihiga county during the burial of the father to former National Assembly speaker Kenneth Marende. Saboti member of Parliament Caleb Amisi claimed that Ruto is hated countywide by youths. According to him, hate is everywhere.
However, he dismissed the chance of Kalonzo Musyoka toppling President William Ruto in 2027. He asked the current opposition team to focus on offering solutions instead of just attacking the President.
Several Kenyans have asked questions on the possibility that there is a rift in Kenya Kwanza’s broad based government.
