Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua fate seems to have been sealed for good. His survival chances are deeming everyday as the motion tabling day approaches.
The Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary meeting is expected at State House on Tuesday next week. The agenda of the meeting according to those close to the head of State is to discuss the possibility of toppling Rigathi.
The National Assembly speaker Moses Wetangula has opened up on his position on Gachagua Impeachment.
Speaking at Wamunyu Catholic church in Machakos County. Wetangula stated he supports the impeachment motion of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagwa.
According to him, it is best for Kenya to look at the way things operate in a clear picture. Tribalism and hate should not be tolerated at all, something he claimed Gachagua is advocating for in his fight to control mount Kenya.
However, a section of Kenyans have questioned Wetangula for publicly endorsing the motion despite being speaker. They have asked him to maintain neutral position in the whole thing instead of taking sides.
Kenyans will have to wait until next week Tuesday to know the fate of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. The meeting is expected at State House on Tuesday to set the ball in motion for the removal of second in command.
