Orange democratic Party leader, Honorable Raila Odinga has saved Nairobi County governor Johnson Sakaja from an impending impeachment motion.
According to the sources close to members of the Nairobi County assembly, they were planning to table the impeachment motion on September 3, 2025. However, Odinga moved with speed together with President William Ruto and Other Leaders convinced the MCA’s not to Impeach Sakaja.
It is claimed that, there are some conditions that Sakaja must fulfill in order to be safe. He must work with MCA’s in making sure that everything works out in terms of developmental projects.

Aladwa continued by alleging that, Sakaja and members of the county assembly agreed on working together going forward for the benefits of the people who are waiting for development.
” We as the leaders from Nairobi have agreed to work together to be good people of Nairobi. Our people are not interested in politics. We must not continue doing that going forward. Our target is purely service delivery to the people of Nairobi. In one month’s time, we are going to meet again ti evaluate how things are moving on. ” Said Aladwa.
