“I’m Coming For You” Ruto Warned By Wanjigi Who Revealed His Plan After Being Freed

DRAMATIC ARREST.

Businessman Jimmy Wanjigi was arrested on Monday, August 19 after presenting himself at Police headquarters for questioning. According to the information shared by his lawyer Khaminwa, the business mogul was handcuffed after arriving at the station. He was allegedly holding guns without a valid license.

” My client has been illegally detained after presenting himself for questioning. There is a court order preventing them from arresting Wanjigi but they’re not listening to any of our applications. This is wrong” said Khaminwa.

Wanjigi was taken to Kamukuji Police Station where he spend his night before being presented to court for plea hearing. Wanjigi’s Arrest just came few days after his home was raided by elite police team.

WANJIGI’S HOME RAID.

The house of Wanjigi In Muthaiga, Nairobi was raided by Police officers who were looking for him. According to the video which was shared online. His wife was heard pleading with police officers not to shoot her as they ransacked the house searchings for Jimmy.

He was accused of funding protests that were planning to overthrow the government of the day. Something he denied after emerging from his hideout.

COURT HEARING.

Jimmy Wanjigi and his allies were released on a 10 million bond. The case is set to be heard in September.

Nark Kenya Party Leader Hon. Martha Karua who was part of the legal team that was representing Wanjigi took issues with prosection team. She accused them of being used to score political battles instead of focusing on building the nation.

Wanjigi’s Statement After He was Freed.

Speaking outside the court flanked by his wife and mother. Wanjigi warned Ruto to stop going for his family. Instead, he challenged him to face him In the political arena. He went on to say that, his focus is to see Ruto gone at all cost.

” I want to address Ruto now. Let him stop this political witch hunt and face me directly. I’m coming for him and for sure, he will go” said Wanjigi.
