Kenyans are focused on public participation that is aimed at impeaching Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. Across the nation, the activity is ongoing with mixed reactions.
A section of Kenyans have claimed that the move is putting the country in a political mood. Despite the fact Ruto has not publicly issued a statement on the same, he has been asked to halt the process. But, has the security council issued a statement warning him?
There were reports allegedly originating from people daily digital media about security council warning Ruto of possible public discord if Gachagua is impeached.
Well, the People Daily team has come out quickly to refute such claims. They have made it clear the message did not originate from them and that it is fake news. They have announced this through their social media X account.
Kenyans have been asked to remain vigilant and be on lookout for fake news that might be thrown around during this Impeachment period.
” Fake News Alert: We would like to inform the public that the following publication is fake and did not originate from People Daily.” Posted People Daily.
