Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was an isolated man in Embu. As major dignitaries took positions on the main dias in Embu.
He was seen seated with other leaders in a tent far away from President William Ruto, Deputy President Kindiki and former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
When leaders were invited to speak, he was not given an opportunity to speak at any given point. However, when his name was mentioned, residents celebrated widely by sending a clear message that he was still their leader.
Well, the former second in command has finally opened up after dramatic events in Embu county today.
Through his X platform, Gachagua has shared a video where Embu residents celebrated after his name was mentioned. In the video, the bishop was forced to calm them down before continuing with the introduction of the guests.

Many Kenyans have shared the video with numerous speculations. Some have asked President William Ruto to be careful in 2027 since he might lose Mount Kenya region votes.
With former President Uhuru Kenyatta now becoming a darling for the region that Rejected his candidate Raila Odinga. His new found love must be giving Kenya Kwanza administration a headache.
Some are feeling Kindiki is no match to Gachagua on ground mobilization and it will be interesting to see how Things will play out in 2027 general election.
