Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was officially removed from office yesterday and Kindiki sworn in as the second in command.
Kindiki who was serving as the interior Cabinet Secretary took over office after Gachagua was unceremoniously removed from office, through a dramatic impeachment motion. A motion which was tabled by Kibwezi West member of Parliament Mutuse.
Well, today on November 2, 2024. Gachagua has revealed what he will do to president William Ruto going forward. He opened up in Kirinyaga where he attended a funeral service.
“I have no problem with President William Ruto going forward. Let us give him time to deliver his manifesto for the remaining three years. When the right time comes, he will come back to us again.” Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Rigathi Gachagua’s statement has sparked mixed reactions as many people expected retaliation from him almost immediately. Some anticipated he would call a rally and maybe fire salvos at the head of State.
During his Impeachment process, he asked Kenyans allied to him to maintain peace and unity as he fought his battles in court. He believed in the court process and it will be interesting to see what happens after conservatory orders were lifted.
