Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is today in Kirinyaga County. According to his handlers, he is attending a funeral service in the area.
Flanked by leaders allied to him, he received a heroic reception depicting that of a kingpin. This is coming just a day after his office was officially taken by Kithure Kindiki. Kindiki was sworn in at KICC in a ceremony attended by various dignitaries.
From the photos shared, people are seen lining up to greet the former Deputy President with joy. This has been interpreted by political analysts as a sign of hitting the ground running.

With Gachagua hitting the ground running. 2027 general election is going to be an interesting one. He was one of the leaders that heavily invested in the United Democratic Party and went ahead to use his resources in making sure they won.
Fir Ruto to Mount a strong battle in Mount Kenya, especially West. He will have to appoint someone with heavy muscles that can match gachagua’s. In this case, Kenyans are still adamant, Gachagua is the only person who can Mobilize Mount Kenya region block. Unless former president Uhuru Kenyatta gives a signal.
