Enough Is Enough” President Ruto Warned, Told What Will Happen If He Beings Back Finance Bill 2024

The month of June was so intense for the people of Kenya and the President. Kenyans across the country took to the streets to reject finance bill 2024 that was being fronted by Kenya Kwanza administration which was aimed at collecting over 4 trillion shillings.

The national assembly of Kenya was occupied by Kenyans leaving legislators running for their lives. Some were forced to hide inside ambulances to avoid meeting irate youths who were demanding for accountability.

Over 60 youths lost their lives and some are still figuring for their lives in hospitals with irreversible injuries that will have to live with them for the rest of their lives.

Dissolution Of Cabinet.

President William Ruto dissolved his cabinet in an attempt to control the masses which was buying for his blood. He later retained some names in his cabinet despite youths warning him not to do so.

The dissolution of Cabinet came in after he dropped the finance bill in totality. Sending it back to the Parliament.

Well, it seems like he wants to revive it through some amendments. According to the newly appointed Finance Cabinet Secretary John Mbadi, some of the amendments are going to be revived.

One of the amendment is Eco levy- a bill that was so rejected by Kenyans in totality.

Speaking to the media, Mbadi claimed that the move will help the country to collect about 150 billions which will help in paying teachers salaries and improving infrastructures in schools.

Well, one of the activists who led the reject finance bill protests has warned Ruto not to try bringing back the finance bill, or else, he will be remote from office this time round.

Through her X account, she has send out a series of tweets warning leaders not to play with Kenyans minds.

“We dare the president of the Republic of Kenya @WilliamsRuto to bring back the finance bill and see. You created a corrupt cabinet and killed our people you will have to kill all of us. Enough is enough. Jaribu wewe mzee na watu wako. Umezidi sasa!!!!! The ultimate power belongs to the people of Kenya!” Posted Activist Hanifer.
