Orange Democratic Party (ODM) Secretary General Senator Edwin Sifuna has moved swiftly to implement what he promised Mama Ida Odinga, as he convened a high-level consultative meeting bringing together key party leaders in an effort to restore unity within the party.
On January 7, 2026, while visiting the home of the late ODM leader Raila Odinga, Sifuna publicly assured Mama Ida that he would initiate internal dialogue among ODM leaders to address emerging disagreements following the end of the Raila Odinga era. Barely a day later, the youthful senator has made good on that promise.
Taking to his official social media platforms on January 8, Sifuna shared photos of a roundtable meeting with several senior ODM figures, accompanied by a brief caption reading, “Sit. Talk. Tumeanza.”
