Orange democratic Party Secretary general Senator Edwin Sifuna has finally taken to social media to update Kenyans just days after laying to rest his political father the late Honorable Raila Odinga.
Speaking at his funeral a few days ago, Sifuna made it clear, Raila Odinga did not authorize the ODM party to work with Ruto in the 2027 general election.
Despite heavy criticism from the party supremo who maintained they will remain in government. Sifuna stood firm and asked those claiming Odinga told them to Join Ruto to stop lying to Kenyans.

He referred them to a Speech made by Odinga in September. In his speech, Odinga asked ODM party members to stop claiming the Party will support President William Ruto and instead wait for the directions. Well, just after the burial of Odinga, he has taken to his social media.
According to Sifuna, Kenyans should give him a little time and respond to all the inquiries made on ODM party issues. He also thanked those that prayed for him during the hard times. The passing on of his party leader Seems to have taken atoll on his mental health.
To all of you who sent me messages of prayers and encouragement, thank you so much. Im just getting round to reading and responding. Kindly accept my sincerest appreciation even if i don’t respond to all of them. God bless.” Posted Sifuna.
