Former Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i made it clear that he is not at the Jubilee party. This is coming just months after Jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni declared that Matiang’i is their Presidential Candidate.
Despite holding several pressers to claim Matiang’i as their candidate, he denied them. Speaking at the interview with a local television reporter, Sam Gituku.
Matiang’i made it clear he is not in Jubilee and told Kenyans that he is still negotiating with friends on the best move to make. This means that he is open to accommodating any political party ahead of the 2027 general election.
The Jubilee party and its secretary general will have to move with speed and convince him to run on their ticket before it is too late.
