Just few weeks ago, Kenyan based Ugandan Athlete Rebecca Cheptegei was killed by her husband in a land dispute. Kenyans were shocked by the turn of events that happened in Kitale.
Rebecca and her husband unfortunately passed on in Eldoret where they were receiving treatment. Well, another Kenyan legend has rested. According to reports, he was attacked by thugs at his home in Eldoret.
The report has claimed that Samson Kandie passed on after thugs attacked him at his home, Elgon View Estate, Eldoret. The cause of the attack and amount of goods stolen had not been mentioned yet.
“Kenya has lost yet another former athlete, Samson Kandie.According to reports Kandie was attacked by thugs at his residence in Elgon View, Eldoret last night.He represented Kenya at the World championships in 2001.He also finished 3rd in Berlin Marathon twice (1998,1999)” read Part of the report.
