Learners across Kiharu Constituency have received a major morale boost after their Member of Parliament Hon Ndindi Nyoro unveiled a new initiative aimed at strengthening academic performance ahead of national examinations.

Education officials say the move is part of a broader strategy to promote equity by supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds who often struggle to access supplementary learning resources.
Speaking during the launch of the initiative, constituency leaders emphasized that consistent access to revision materials plays a critical role in boosting learner confidence and performance.
Teachers welcomed the move, noting that many schools rely heavily on shared or outdated materials, a challenge that often limits effective exam preparation.
The programme will benefit both primary and secondary school learners, with priority given to candidates sitting national examinations.
School administrators have been tasked with coordinating distribution to ensure that the materials reach the intended beneficiaries in good time.
The funds will cover textbooks, revision booklets, past examination papers, and other learning aids tailored to different grade levels.
Parents across the constituency have praised the initiative, saying it will significantly ease financial pressure at a time when the cost of education continues to rise. Many expressed optimism that the support will translate into improved results and open up more opportunities for learners.
Kiharu has in recent years invested heavily in education-focused programmes, with leaders maintaining that human capital development remains a top priority.
As schools intensify preparations for the exam season, stakeholders are hopeful that the latest allocation will help learners compete fairly and achieve better academic outcomes.
