Former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga have received some bad news after the latest report. According to the information shared to us, the government of Kenya has changed the way things have been operating in the pension section of the administration.
The President William Ruto led administration has slashed the pension benefits for the retired top officials. Those affected massively are Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta. Uhuru will lose 94.4 millions from his budget. Raila Odinga will loose 23.9 Million shillings and others who will be affected are Kalonzo Musyoka and Moody Awori who served as vice Presidents respectively.

“Former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s retirement benefits are set for a Ksh 94.6 million funding cutback in the upcoming national budget, bringing his allocation down from Ksh 371.46 million to Ksh 276.85 million. The biggest reductions are on foreign travel (Ksh 46.5 million), insurance (Ksh 23 million) and domestic travel (Ksh 11 million) in what appears to be part of broader austerity measures.” Read Report.
