The late Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga joined hands with President of the republic of Kenya His Excellency William Ruto and formed a broad based government.
Through a broad based government, many people allied to Raila Odinga were appointed to the Kenya Kwanza administration as the experts with an intention of helping the president shape the country after deadly protests from the youths.
Well, after his death, many expected that those allied to Raila Odinga will automatically Join Ruto in the 2027 general election. Things are playing out differently.

According to Ruth Odinga, she is not going to allow the orange democratic Party to be controlled by Individuals who are not the members of the party. She continued by claiming that the ODM party is still under the Azimio La Umoja coalition and Kalonzo is also an option since he stood with Raila Odinga in many years of political struggles.
Her sentiments were echoed by governor James Orengo who Called on the government not to kill the political parties. According to Orengo, the political parties must stand as the law dictates and not by the decisions of those who are in government.
This is bad news for President William Ruto who has been targeting to win over Raila Odinga’s political base. He will have to go back to the drawing board and make some political Moves before it is too late Ahead of 2027 general election.
