Since taking over power as the 5th Head of State, William Ruto has been coming up with new strategies and plans in a bid to streamline the activities of the country. He has been working hard to ensure that he builds a strong legacy for himself and today, things weren’t different.
During a cabinet meeting which was hosted by President William Ruto at State House today, Ruto’s Cabinet Secretaries approved the move to set up a presidential working group on femicide.

According to reports, the team will be tasked on delivering actionable proposals to address the crime within 90 days of gazettement. That comes after calls from various groups in the country to end femicide.
In recent days, there have been plenty of cruel murders on women in the country, something that resulted to demonstrations and protests against femicide. Hopefully, the team tasked the assignment will deliver and soon enough, femicide sagas will be a story of the past.
