The 2027 general election debate is taking shape in the country. Leaders are positioning themselves in various camps. As alignment intensifies, Kenyans are watching keenly on who to send home and who to reelect again.
Well, one member of Parliament has issued a statement in a video which has gone viral. He has declared, he will not be defending his seat in the 2027 general election. This declaration has left his followers scratching their heads.

Nakuru West Member Of Parliament Hon. Samuel Arama made it clear that he will not be seeking another term as a member of Parliament. According to him, he has served his people well and it is time to do other things.
He claimed that, if residents decide that he is fit to be governor anywhere within the republic of Kenya, he will gladly accept that offer and if they reject him he will still accept their wish.

In the same interview, Arama thanked Nakuru West residents for believing in him and his manifestos since 2013 when he was elected as their representative.
Arama was reelected for his third term in 2022 on a jubilee party ticket despite Kenya Kwanza Wave. He got Over thirty four thousand votes against his opponent who got twenty nine thousand votes.
