According to the video shared online, Arati and Nyaribo encountered one term Chants from Nyamira County residents. They were asked by the residents to respect Matiang’i and include him in all the plans in Gusii Land .
Matiang’i is considered Gusii Land kingpin especially basing on the recent by-elections in Ekerenyo and Kisii where he defeated opponents. He is planning to run for the top seat in the 2027 general election and negotiations are underway to have him supported by the United opposition for the top seat.
