Kakamega County Senator who is also serving as Senate majority whip has been kicked out for the Senate Chambers by speaker Amason Kingi.
Khalwale was not happy with the decision of the speaker to throw him out after Mogori senator Eddie Oketch brought to the attention of the house how Boni Khalwale was dressed.
According to Oketch, it was unparliamentary for him to ditch the required dressing code and came with a pull neck to the respected House.
After noticing the incident, speaker Amason Kingi ordered Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale to get out of the chambers and go dress accordingly. He later left the building protesting but rules are rules. He was forced to comply with them.

Khalwale is not the first legislator to be shown the door for his dressing code. Senator Karen Nyamu was thrown out of the chambers at one point for dressing against the house code.
Former Nairobi County governor Mike Sonko was also thrown out of Chambers while serving as Makadara member of Parliament. According to him, it was unfortunate that the old laws were limiting the current generation of youths.
