The President of the republic of Kenya His Excellency William Ruto has left a section of Kenyans talking after a video of him emerged. In the video, the President was seen shedding tears at an event that was fully packed to the brim.
While explaining what happened at the event hosted at State House Nairobi. The President was seen as emotional while thanking the Kenyan athletic team for bringing home gold medals and flying the country flag so high leaving a mark at the global stage. A mark he maintained will not be forgotten forever.
In the video, Ruto is seen briefly using his wipe to clear his nose and tears. He excused the audience for the action.

Well, in the event, the President awarded millions of shillings to the winners at the world marathon. The gold medalist will be taking home nine million Kenya shillings. The silver medalist will take home 4.5 million shillings While bronze will take him 2.8 millions.
The team will also be blessed with affordable houses where the government will pay some of the money as they top it up.
Kenyans have praised the president for supporting the team and showing that indeed, the talent pays well.
