There was drama in Kakamega after the President of the republic of Kenya His Excellency William Ruto was forced to Pause his speech for a while.
In the video, the President tried to plead with the Kakamega residents to allow him to speak. He tried several times to calm them down but seemingly angry residents continued with one term Chants..
Kakamega County governor His Excellency Fernandez Barasa was forced to jump on the top of his vehicle in an attempt to calm his people but all was in vain.
However, after about 10 minutes, Ruto managed to address the rally. He promised to fulfill the promises he made during campaigns which includes better healthcare and affordable housing.

He hailed the progress at the Milimani Kakamega affordable housing program which is now completely awaiting Kenyans to move into the houses.
The President is currently in Busia commissioning the national government projects.
He has promised Busia people a stadium with a budget of over nine hundred billion shillings.
According to him, this development will boost the sports activities and will also open up the region as an economic boost.
