On November 22, 2025. Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi while speaking in Malava Constituency fired a warning shot at Tranzoia County governor His Excellency George Natembeya.
Musalia accused Natembeya of being everywhere in the Western region campaigning for the Luhya Unity instead of focusing on delivering services to the people of Tranzoia County. According to Musalia, it was unfortunate for a first time governor to focus on name-calling his elders politically.
Musalia went far to State that in 2027, he will rally someone to defeat Natembeya in Tranzoia County. Well, Natembeya has responded.

Speaking in Kisa East ward, Kakamega County where he has gone on a campaign for DAP Kenya candidate Ayaya. Natembeya accused the government of targeting him instead of focusing on service delivery.
Responding to Musalia, Natembeya insisted that no intimation will stop him from uniting the Western region and negotiating for the massive voting block.
According to Natembeya, It is time for the Luhya nation to receive the development from the national government and not just follow two people blindly.
He has vowed to press on despite facing massive resistance from Musalia and Wetangula who are targeting to silence him politically in 2027.
