Tranzoia County Governor, His Excellency George Natembeya, has captured the hearts of many Kenyans after celebrating Christmas in an extraordinary and compassionate manner.
While many leaders across the country opted to distribute foodstuffs such as sugar and cooking oil to residents in their constituencies, Natembeya took a different approach that left residents and netizens alike praising his generosity.
According to a video shared online, the governor spent the festive day visiting local hospitals, paying medical bills for patients who could not afford treatment.

Beyond this, he also gave residents cash to enable them to buy essentials or gifts for themselves and their families, ensuring that no one in Tranzoia would feel left out during the celebrations.
Residents were visibly moved by the gesture, with many describing it as “timely and heartwarming.” Social media quickly lit up with videos and photos capturing Natembeya interacting personally with patients, caregivers, and other locals, highlighting a leader committed to service beyond political gestures.
