Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has let Kenyans talking after praising the late Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga in his death.
For the longest time before his death, Raila Odinga clashed with Gachagua on various occasions exchanging bitter words on many national platforms.
At some point, Gachagua blamed Raila for ganging up with Ruto to impeach him. Well, it seems like that is over now.
Speaking at a function in Mount Kenya region, Gachagua claimed that Raila Odinga made sure during his political career to surround himself with brilliant people.

Ha named people like; James Orengo, Otiende Amollo, Babu Owino, Millicent Odhiambo, Tom Ojieda among others as people who studied law and were able to defend Raila Odinga through the constitution.
However, this is not the case in the Mount Kenya region. According to Gachagua, Mount Kenya people elected funny characters that cannot even have a strong debate at the national assembly. They are only engaging in things that are not of help to the people of Mount Kenya region.
He asked central region people to make the right decisions in the upcoming general election and elect brilliant minds in the region to the national assembly, so that they can fight for the region without being manipulated on what to do.
