The Independent Electoral Commission is busy now with the verification and clearance of Candidates across the country in the November 27, by- Elections.
In Malava things are tight within the opposition team as DCP and DAP are expected to face-off with political analysts insisting the battle might affect the working relationship in the 2027 general election.
Well, the DAP Kenya candidate was cleared yesterday and it was the time for the DCP party candidate to Present his papers for verification today.

However, when it came to DCP Candidate Edgar Busiega, he was scheduled to appear at the Malava constituency IEBC offices at around 8:Am. This did not happen prompting the IEBC chair to call him with demands.
Despite issuing orders for him, Busiega appears at 11am. He still did not appear. This left the person conducting the verification angry and making another call. Busiega was given 20 minutes to appear before them or he gets locked out of the verification process which ends today.
