Former President Uhuru Kenyatta once again proved why he remains one of Kenya’s most admired leaders, three years after retiring from active politics.
On December 17, 2025, Uhuru left Kenyans amused and talking after a light-hearted moment during a leadership conference, where he briefly paused his speech to describe himself in a humorous way.
Uhuru, who has continued to enjoy immense public goodwill since leaving office, reminded many of his enduring popularity witnessed at the funeral service of the late Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader, Raila Odinga, held at Nyayo Stadium.
