The Malava Constituency by-election is proving to be a very tight race between the United Democratic party candidate Honorable Ndakwa and Seth Panyako.
Yesterday, one candidate stepped down in favour of Ndakwa. However, things hage heated up again after a section of broad based government under ODM party wing have defected from Ndakwa camp and are now supporting Seth Panyako.
According to the video shared online by Seth Panyako, leaders in Orange democratic Party official attires are seen endorsing him claiming he is the right person to lead the Malava people.

This is a blow to governor Fernandez Barasa who is the Kakamega County Orange democratic Party Chairperson. With the division within the party under his leadership, many are expecting him to be summoned on that.
Well, the race between Ndakwa and Seth Panyako is now expected to be tougher than expected. Many different leaders are coming out to dump support for their respective candidates.
Interestingly, the seat has led to the division within all the Political parties involved. Some from the UDA Party like Boni Khalwale are now campaigning for the opposition candidate. And those from the opposition like DAP Party Deputy Party leader Honorable Ayub Savula are supporting Ndakwa from the Kenya Kwanza administration.
