After June 25, 2024. The Kenyan political trajectory changed completely. President William Ruto invited Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga to a discussion that gave birth to a broad based government.
A few individuals from the Orange democratic Party were picked and appointed to the Cabinet by President William Ruto. This was despite the protests from youths who had stormed the parliament demanding accountability.
Well, things are not working well as expected and chaotic scenes are being witnessed in ODM to an extent Ruto has been asked to fire one ODM allied Cabinet Secretary by Kakamega County governor Barasa.

According to governor Barasa, former Kakamega County governor who is currently comparative cabinet secretary Wycliffe Oparanya is undermining his administration. He is allegedly funding people including legislators allied to ODM to undermine Barasa and his development agenda.
Barasa has called in Ruto to take the seat and give it to anyone else in Nairobi or other regions instead of it causing divisions in the ODM party and Kakamega County at large.
