President William Ruto and his allies are really going through a lot currently after initiating an impeachment motion against Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
According to those familiar with the impeachment plot, it was supposed to be smooth and faster. However, things are turning out to be complicated and demanding.
The war at the courts is heated with Gachagua playing his cards carefully. Well, amidst the court battle at Milimani, President William Ruto’s administration has been Sued again.
According to the information shared, over 100 workers who were domiciled at the office of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua have sued the state. From the petition seen, they are claiming to be victimized on the grounds of association. They are asking the court to reinstate them to their positions as they are government officials entitled to rights.
A few days ago, the administration of president William Ruto sent 108 workers at the office for a compulsory leave. When they tried accessing the building again, they were blocked and instructed to go home until further instructions were given to them on the way forward. It is not clear to them when those orders will be Issued. Kenyans are waiting to see what happens next for them and if they will get justice.
