Since the passing on of the late Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga on October 15, and his subsequent burial on October 19, 2025. Things have not been the same anymore within the party. Leaders have been fighting to be seen as the best people to lead the party.
The national delegates conference appointed Oburu Odinga as the party leader in Mombasa. Well, since his confirmation as the substantial party leader, things are turning out to be rough for him.
According to the petitioner, Rachael Tabitha who has referred to herself as the Orange democratic Party life member. Oburu Odinga was not elected through vigorous internal channels.

He was just proposed and fixed in that position, something that is undermining the democracy that the late Orange democratic Party leader Honorable Raila Odinga defended so hard.
She has called on Oburu to leave the party leader position willingly and he is subjected to a democratic process and if he manages to convince the rest of members through the ballot, then, he can be Picked without any resistance.
Failure to act, the member has promised to mobilize other members to regrettably leave the party with immediate effect. With this petition, it seems like there is more Storm brewing within the party, something that is going to blow out of proportion very soon. Oburu Odinga will have to act with speed and make sure that things are in order within the Orange democratic Party.
