
President William Ruto is having a rough time with his own people. Leaders allied to Kenya kwanza administration and those who joined the government through broad based government are on his neck over what he did a few days ago.
According to the information shared, the legislators have called a press conference to denounce his plan to lease Nzoia Sugar company to the Rai group of companies.
Speaking at a presser, Kenya Kwanza member of Parliament representing Kabuchai constituency Majibo Kalasinga joined ODM Leaders in demanding for the halt of the lease offered.A

Orange democratic Party Deputy party leader Osotsi who is also representing Vihiga County has claimed that no public participation was conducted before the lease was agreed upon. He has maintained that the move will go through the region off balance economically. Something that they cannot allow to happen.
They have also called on the president to revive the company without leasing it because residents donated land willingly many years ago and it will be betrayal to offer it for free to some other people for free.
“We are saddened by what the Kenyan government has done. Leasing the factory is so wrong and should not be allowed at all. Nzoia was contributed by residents and they must be consulted in case of any sale. ” Said Osotsi.
