National assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah faced it rough in his own constituency. In a video that is widely shared online, seemingly angry residents refused to listen to what he was saying and demanded that he leave the venue immediately.
The plea from other area leaders to allow majority leader speak did not bore fruits as youths were so determined to see him out of the venue.

This is not the first time Kimani Ichung’wah is facing such resistance from his own people. During the Presidential Tour of Mount Kenya region, Ichung’wah was heckled on various occasions forcing him to pause his speech in a dramatic manner.
According to political analysts, they are attributing his heckling to the role he played in removing Gachagua from office. He was vocal on the issue despite being warned by leaders from the large Mount Kenya region. Well, let’s wait and see what happens next as political temperatures rise in the country ahead of elections.
